Do you ever wonder what your cat is thinking? Why does Tabby pee outside the box? Why does Sylvester still scratch the couch after you bought an expensive scratching post? How do you stop Rex from crying at the bedroom door? Many cat behaviors are built-in feline instincts, so trying to change them can cause frustration. However, if we understand these behaviors, we can work with our pets to provide them with what they need while maintaining our wits. Other behaviors (good and bad) are learned by cats, usually from us. Learn common sense scientifically-proven techniques for teaching your cat new behaviors in a fun class atmosphere. Gates resident, Jennifer Michels, is an IAABC certified cat behavior consultant. She creates custom behavior modification plans for private clients.
