Gates Recreation and Parks Department is offering a Babysitting Instruction Course Saturday, July 12. This is an extensive course providing youth ages 11 years and over instruction in being a qualified babysitter. One portion of the course is the opportunity to obtain some experience dealing with real infants and toddlers. We are in need of four to five parents with a child 18 months or under, who would be willing to bring the child (and any siblings, if necessary) to this class for an hour to provide information on what they look for in a babysitter. This also provides the class members an opportunity to experience a real child.
